PSL 2025 qualification scenarios
Quetta Gladiators have already secured a playoff spot with 13 points from nine matches. Their strong net run rate (+1.530) puts them in a commanding position to finish in the top two, ensuring a direct path to the Qualifier.
Karachi Kings are close to sealing their playoff berth. With 12 points from nine matches, they need just one more win to guarantee qualification. If they win both remaining games, they could challenge Quetta for a top-two finish.
Islamabad United sit at 10 points and must win at least one of their remaining matches to stay in contention. A victory in both games would almost certainly secure their place in the playoffs.
Lahore Qalandars are in a tricky position with nine points. Their strong net run rate (+0.958) gives them an advantage if qualification comes down to tiebreakers. A win in their final match should be enough, but a loss could eliminate them.
Peshawar Zalmi needs to win both of their remaining matches to reach 12 points and stay in the hunt. If they lose even one game, their chances of qualification will depend on other results.
Multan Sultans are already eliminated, having won just one match out of nine. Even if they win their last game, they cannot reach the playoff spots.
