Dube was added to the squad as a replacement for an injured Nitish Kumar Reddy. The explosive middle-order batter could be the perfect addition to the Indian middle-order. Dhruv Jurel, who failed to fire in IND vs ENG 2nd T20I, is expected to be benched for the 3rd T20I. Dube’s ability to bowl will also come as an additional advantage for India as pacers are expected to fare better than spinners at the venue.

Harshit Rana, who came into the field as a substitute player in Chennai, is expected to be included in the playing XI for the 3rd T20I. He will join hands with Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya and Dube to complete a formidable pace battery.

Shami, who is yet to make his international comeback, has been warming the bench so far in the series. He is likely to continue doing so in IND vs ENG 3rd T20I as the suspense over his fitness continues. Besides, with the ICC Champions Trophy coming up, India wouldn’t want to take too much risk with the veteran pacer.
