Rarh Bengal Tigers have reclaimed top spot in the Hockey India League standings with a late 2-1 win over bottom-dweller Delhi SG Pipers. The win helped Bengal Tigers move one point clear of Hyderabad Toofans with 18 points from nine matches. JSW Soorma Hockey Club, and Tamil Nadu Dragons are also tied on 17 points each with Toofans.

Delhi SG Pipers who were already eliminated have now 10 losses in as many games with just one win in shoot-out.

HIL 2024-25 Standings

Three teams, Hyderabad Toofans, Tamil Nadu Dragons, and JSW Soorma Hockey Club, are all tied on 17 points but differ in goal difference.
Rarh Bengal Tigers have reclaimed top spot all but confirming a playoff spot.
UP Rudras are on 5th spot but they have a match in hand. They can join Tamil Dragons and the other two teams with 17 points if they win their next encounter.

HIL 2024-25 Qualification Scenarios
